Looking for advice. Rode the bike to work this morning and she ran like the wind. After work - nothing. The alarm didn't react on me trying to turn it off. No sound, no turn signals flashing. Put the key in, turned it and hit the starter button. Not even a click! Lights and blinkers work when the ignition is on, but that's all I get. Checked the fuses and they all looked OK.
Ideas anyone? I'm out of those right now...

Test your battery. It sounds like it is an electrical issue. Are you able to clutch start (bump) it?

Tried to jump start the bike, but it wouldn't ignite... Phew, after a couple of tries these motorsickels feel quite heavy.

I'd swop the fuses out for new ones Bengt, they sometimes go with just a hairline crack in them. Also(got this from Pat) check back of fuse box, sometimes connectors can work loose( looks like fuse is fully seated but not in contact) If alarm system has independent fuse check this also.

Is the emergency kill switch in the on position? Lights and turn signals still work with it off.

+1 for the kill switch easiest is sometimes easiest overlooked. Also, does that alarm have an immobilizer/ignition stop integrated? Might have tripped or failed.

You might also check the neutral switch, it's in an exposed area under the transmission.

Sure is! I had my brother come with his van to help me get the bike home. After checking tons of stuff I had a go at the fuses. Doh! Why didn't I start there? Thanks again!

Know where your coming from Bengt. Best not ask me how I found out about the hairline cracks. Glad to hear your back on the road.
