question for the "boss". Pretty new to site and this might have been asked before, but, is there a way that the rides/ralles forums could be split to highlight what event is in what country/area? several times I have seen a "northwest" ride on the title page, only to open it and find its northwest america. Sorry people but we in Lancashire, England also call where we live as the northwest and it gets me frustrated to the point I stop looking!...

Is it a needle in a haystack thing for you?
Can't get the Fig Newton song out of my head.

If not, maybe people could do US, UK, OZ, EU or whatever as a prefix to the threads?

That would be my preference, even if I have to go in and add that to the first post myself. I don't plan on adding more "top level" forums at this stage, and the current software doesn't appear to support "sub forums." Newer versions of the software may support that and I'd be willing to look at aggregating the Rides forum when that's available.

Geeeeezuss - that seems kinda trivial. Seems like you've got a lot going on. Maybe stop reading altogether. Do ya think ya might be more specific about a trivial rant in the header so I'm not likely to waste a lot of valuable time reading it. Oh, and by the way - I'm sure you'll be welcomed at anything northwest - just sayin'

the prefix idea is ideal. doesnt cause the "poster" more than a few extra keystrokes and we all know were we are (england, us etc

I added a note in the guidelines post, but don't expect miracles. Most people probably won't do it.

Yep, the onus should be on the poster. No need making more work for the Admin.
The problem being that most people are pretty geocentric, it may take a while for some to get the message.
