Can you post any pictures of when new and now? Just curious to see what a 100,000 mile bike looks like. Thanks...

As far as problems? The bike has had electrical issues in last 20,000 miles. Started with a wire short in headlight.Have replaced rectifier and stator since then. Also had to redo conn. under seat. Wire shorted out due to bad stator.
Learning alot about the electrics, and ethanol gas. They say if you go to mexico, don't drink the water. After what it does to our motors. I may quit drinking it here.
But Bell Performence makes a product, Mix-I-Go concentrate. that I really like. 1/2 ounce each fill up and bike sounds good and getting 10-20% increase in milage. Ilost 15-20% when ethanol came out.

Geez, maybe *we* should do something. Why don't you post a little write-up of how you got to the 99K and some pics. I'm sure we could get something on the front page of the website.

They'll just yawn and point out that it's a Triumph, so it's supposed to do that.

use that last 1000 mile by coming to Texas and I'll buy ya a stake and some beer. Maybe even see if we can get a patch made that says 100,000 miles or something.

The bike is a 2002 Black and Silver Demo Speedometer read 221 miles when I got it. 2 broken speedometer cables took care of overage.Figure I put about 600 miles without speedometer.
Bought bike August of 02. I was celebrating Divorce and Birthday Had a 79 750 Bonneville that was Black and Silver that I sold before marriage. Regret that ever since.
Present Bike has quite a life. Been to NY, Canada and out to St Louis on way home. May write a book.
