Looking for feedback on the low profile solo seat from newspeedmaster.com. Has anyone purchased one? How confortable is it.

Don't know about the Newspeedmaster low profile seats. But I can vouch for these ones. Maverick seats I've done 240 mile days in this saddle.

I've got the flame low profile seat from New Speedmaster - it's brilliant. The slightly lower profile suits me as I'm only 5'8", and it looks fantastic. Obviously it's not as comfortable as the Triumph gel seat, but I can still manage 200 - 300 miles a day.

I have the solid black one. It is good for short rides. It gets painful if I go on loger rides with it. Did 160 miles with it, and I was so sore I thought I was going to need an amputation. Seriously, it is a custom seat with little padding. It is meant to look cool, and it does that superbly....but comfort it not it's strong point. I just quickly slap on the original solo seat if I ride farther. It lowers you down quit a bit, and really is a better riding potion. I have considered getting it filled with gel as well.

I have the black flamed one from Newspeedmaster.com and it is what it is. You sit at a much better height and they look very cool. Comfort is however sacrificed. They are easy to swap back to the standard seat if you go on longer rides. It was a little slippery when I first installed it but did the ole hand full of dirt rubbed in and it was fine. I love it.

I had one from new speedmaster and I could ride for 80-100 miles before having to stop and walk around...I had Dunnspeed make me one http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...p;vc=1&nt=4

I can ride all day on it with no problems...rode to the Laughlin River Run with some Harley riders (baggers) and they couldn't believe that I was running such a low profile seat and didn't have to stop all the time

Not sure I follow you. Are you saying that you HAD the newbonneville seat but now you have the Dunnspeed seat?
