I was looking at a Thruxton the other day and noticed an extra filter sticking out just on top of the tranny/crank case area above the rear foot peg. There is a rubber hose that goes from the engine to the Air Box on my bike, but on the Thruxton it was redirected to an independent air filter. Has anyone else seen this? Is this stock on a Thurxton? What would be the benefits of having this independent breather filter? Would it work on a America/Speedmaster?

Could be an aftermarket one... I have one too and I put a Krankvent in line with it.

The one I saw was more like the Bella Corse filter but it stood up rather than laying down on it's side.

Bennybmn:Is this the one you were referring to?
