Hello everyone, I just ordered a set of Rivco pullback risers for my 2010 Speedmaster, now I have read that I will be able to use the standard cables but do I have to re-route any of them and if not how tight are the cables with these risers fitted eg: no pulling on the throttle cables making the bike rev or clutch cable.
Talking of fitting the risers do they bolt straight on to the triple tree I have heard that some risers you have to drill out the mounting bolt holes by a couple mm in the triple tree I don't want to do that if I put the stock risers back on the bike.
And one last question do we use the mounting bolts from the stock risers or do you get a set with the Rivco risers cheers.

No need to reroute cables, hey will be a little tighter, but nothing to worry about. They should come with their own bolts, and will go on with no additional drilling required. Very simple and worthwhile change.

Thanks for your replies, I like the riding postion of the speedy, but on a good ride at times I get pain in the top of my shoulders and neck.
Now I already suffer a bad neck from years of operating heavy plant so I don't want to make the pain any worse, so I think this risers will be just enough to make it a lot more comfortable for me cheers.

The risers just bolt right on. I found they added a stretch to my cables but it was doable, although I did get a little unwanted throttle in a tight turn to the left. I figured I'd re-route the throttle cables to the right side of the frame but ended up buying braided cables with an extra couple o' inches. The clutch cable and front brake line were just fine.

I changed mine out and they fit fine. No drilling and not much work really. No need to reroute anything. Not sure about the clearence of the turn signals and tank if turned hard over. I already relocated mine to the light bar on my bike. They definately helped with the back and shoulder aches. Here are a couple of pics showing the difference in the Rivco and stock riser.
