OK maybe i described it wrong. They might be called a fender support bracket? They are the chrome things that run along the rear fender. I have seen people move there rear signal lights on them was wondering how the little fake bolt heads come off to get the lights on. Thanks

The fender rail bolts are not fake.

they have a chrome button in the hex recess is all. Those that went the route of mounting the indicators using those locations have had to change out the bolts to hollow bolts. Banjo bolts sort of.

British customs has these for mounting to the rear guards. I don't know if they will work with the stock lights or if you have to get the silver bullet lights to go with it. Anybody know that answer? http://www.british-customs.com/british-customs-front-strut-mount-turn-signal-adapters.html
