I recently put my cousin on an '02 America which I cleaned up and did a few tricks to. He is loving his ride but wants to add a passenger seat and sissy bar with saddlebags. I like the look of the bike with the solo seat and would recommend a suction cup mounted passenger pad, (like I use), if I knew of a quick release setup that someone here had used for back rest and saddlebags. Having the chrome bag brackets in place when the bags weren't on would be fine. I'm certain that some here have done this.

I like mine too, but I missed the sissybar and luggage rack last year so I picked up another one for this year (but short since I don't need it for passengers, only luggage).

John, what kind of bags are those? Did you have to shorten your light posts to get them to fit?

'06 TBA - Black, AI and Snorkel removed, K&N Drop In, Gutted Stock Pipes, 145/42, 2 turns out.

No quick release options for the backrest, but I use easy brackets for the bags, can take them on and off in a matter of seconds.

Tsukayu bags, vinyl covered. My light stalks were already shortened so I know if it was necessary, but I don't think so. Every other bike I can find with these bags seem to have modified lights.

A few have been featured.

That's what I'm going for. I'll bet I can make up something to quick mount that sissy bar. Are those Triumph bags, and are the easy brackets available through one of our venders

I got the easy brackets and the bags from Fast Eddy. I just looked on his site and I didn't see the bags, so maybe he doesn't have them anymore. They are Willie & Max revolution series. web page
I got the large throwover style, they have different designs, as well as sizes, and they have hard-mount style also. I got the throwover because they are cheaper, and the back is a hard plastic anyway, perfect for mounting easy brackets to. I just cut off the throwover part with a razor blade.

I have EZ Brackets on both of our bikes and we like them. I run with no bags most of the time and Wendy with. We like being able to take them off when we get where we are going to either take in the tent with us on in the hotel room.I have an idea for a quick release back rest and luggage rack but haven't done it yet. Should be pretty easy to do.

Custom bags with easy brackets and a Sportster fender rack...
