Hi all, I just purchased a used Roadstar screen for my America and found that it is missing the upper yoke brackets. Rather than wait for Triumph to order them in (if they sell them seperately), I thought I would make a set. Could someone please post the dimensions of these brackects for me (metal thickness, width, length hole dimensions etc). I would truely appreciate it. Cheers

Hi Zmilin,
They are a small bracket (approx 100mm / 4" long) that bolt under the cross member on the forks, either side of the speedo. The top arms on the screen bolt into them. i hope that makes sense.
Cheers

Ah... those are supplied with the screen. Sounds like part #5 in the first picture of the instructions... Screen instructions here: http://triumphinstructions.com/ProdDocs/A9748030-EN.pdf

at least they look like they would be easy to make if you could see one to copy or put the shield on and hold it in place to measure.

Terry, If it's part #5 in the above instructions, those are 2 separate parts, each about 1 1/2" maybe 2" at most, which mount to each side of the speedo and the upper arms from the wind screen mount into that bracket. Those are not 4". I leave them on my bike which makes it easier to throw the screen on when it gets cold...Plus they are a pain in the ass to mount.
