Gonna try this, hopefully I add the pics right, please forgive me if this doesn't turn out right... [image]  [/image] When I had drag bars on the America [image]  [/image] After putting on the mini apes; had the lowering blocks on too, till I started scrapin' the bottoms off of my Sceptres [image]  [/image] On the Cherohala Skyway near Robbinsville NC [image]  [/image] Last summer after I finally wore out the whitewalls--had a Metzler in the garage from when I put the 21" up front [image]  [/image] The new ride--2010 Thunderbird with D&D's, gettin ready to put floorboards and bags on; sissy bar and luggage rack stay off unless my Lady is on back [image]  [/image] Qualla Boundary Indian Reservation; Hwy 441 North [image]  [/image] Takin a break in Great Smoky Mtns National Park [image]  [/image] View from the saddle [image]  [/image] The BEAST 1597 CC [image]  [/image] King B tearin up the roads in Broward County, Florida (he's too busy riding to start a BA account so I posted this KILLAH pic for my man haha) [image]  [/image] B's Speedy...and his ohhh I don't know, bout 300 days of riding weather in S. Florida [image]  [/image] Hopefully I did this right and you can actually SEE the bikes haha; will get some pics of my project '73 Bonneville up soon... Lee

Great... and I mean GREAT pictorial extravaganza!!! They say pictures say a thousand words but there's a couple o' yours that speak volumes. Case in point.... Why do I get the impression you're having the time of your life? But wait... Is everything okay? I really enjoyed that small window into your life as it pertains to Triumph. Much appreciated!!!

Cool bikes, cool photos and lovin it. The more I look at these Thunderbirds the more I am starting to appreciate them.

Thanks everybody, @Friar J-- thanks for finally gettin me back on the site (been tryin forever to get a new password), @Mike--see above comment to FJ haha...I haven't went anywhere, just couldn't get on the site (guess it don't hurt to ask for help huh? haha)....and just to let everyone know I KEPT THE AMERICA, THE T-BIRD IS JUST AN ADDITION TO THE STABLE haha (wasn't sure if that was clear)...@Mike--are ya goin to British in the Blue Ridge?

Not gonna make the BBR this year, hope to be in Arizona by then for the SWTF.
I'm in for a Cherohala run sometime in the near future for sure. I love Carolina BBQ

I wonder how that T-bird would look with a set of mini-apes? Those stock bars just didn't fit right to me, but I'm used to a set of mini-apes.

Welcome Bro, this website is the best for our bikes, any info you could possibly want or need!! @Mike, sorry to hear that man, but have fun out there, we should definitely line up a Cherohal ride I haven't been over there in a long minute @SS, I'm considering buying the TT drag bars offered from Triumph, I'm like you used to the miniapes, but the T-Birds bars are pretty comfy, I remember seeing pics of your Red America back in the day, haven't seen it with the apes, bet that looks great

Gordo!! What's up buddy? Man I ended up coming back to NC and finishing up school at Western Carolina University, got a job with the Tribe these days; oh yeah got a nice Lady these days, she loves ridin' the bike so things are great these days haha; are ya gonna go to British in the Blue Ridge??

That 21" up front really gives your bike some attitude Lee. Very nice. How does it compare to the factory front wheel combo in handling & ride?

@Pete & Pat....what's up guys!!! Good to hear from yunz!! Saw where you couldn't make the GA thing Pete, I was bummed out cause I couldn't make it myself...NEXT YEAR THOUGH!! @JohnQuinnell thanks alot, the 21 wheel up front REALLY made a big difference, the bike seems to cut into turns WAY better (put in on for the looks, but was pleasantly surprised with the added handling) but I gotta admit, it BITES when its raining haha @Lylesdo...anytime ya wanna hit the curves round here, let me know...actually I'd like to make it up your way one day, I've always wanted to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway from one end to the other....SOME DAY, SOME DAY
