The roads going to Deals Gap are just as fun as the dragon ride itself. Eight hours of riding Friday and forteen long hours Saturday. The bike is great,speeds over 65 on beat you up after a while. What a great way to get to know your bike. Best weekend I've had in 25 years. Met a guy on a speed triple that said the Ga mountains are even better. I am totaly whipped! I can't wait to get back up there with this bike. It's all that boring FL, GA and SC I have to go through to get there!
Nice Pics.
I did like the GA Mtns. around the Blue Ridge, Hiawassee, Clayton & Helen area. Don't know if the tourists have ruined it by now though.

Well I didn't get bit by the dragon, but it looks like Friday night I got bit by a Brown Recluse. I thought I was felling tired from the ride but I was having trouble riding good on Saturday. Today I went to the doc and he put me on meds. I was feeling disoriented and nauseous at work this morning. Sure glad I made it home.

Nasty buggers. My brother nearly lost an arm from a bite. Watch it carefully and don't delay any doctors orders!
