Nope, sorry John. The outside dims of the double-walled headers is a full 2 inches, and so unfortunately for ALL those folks out there who haven't already made their own really cool header clamps, LIKE I DID HERE.... ...then they STILL won't be able to have 'em on their BAs and Speedies, 'cause those puppies you posted up there won't fit on their bikes! (...yeah, yeah, I know..."It's not all about me!"!!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I posted a thing waaaaay back about it Charlie, but here's ya a quick take on this....
I found a set of those old "Chopper-style" big ol' pointy ones(that people would put on their chopped Triumphs back in the day) at one of those shops that specialize in restoration of old m/cs(the SoCal located "Garage Company" in this case)...took it home...cut it in half across from where the tightening bolt is located...took 'em to my grinder and first grounded out an addition 1/4" around the inside 'cause even that style of clamp's inside dim is about 1 3/4"(but there's still enough of the "ring" to take that additional 1/4" out without it gettin' too thin to weaken it...and this is why I used these pointy ones, 'cause the other "classic" style ones don't have that extra width in order to do this)...then I grounded all those pointy suckers down so they were round like on the old Triumph header clamps...and then once those were all in the same general shape, I bolted 'em up on the headers as close as I could to the cylinder head. And nope, even though they're only held in place on one side(due to cutting them in half) you don't have to wire up the two halves at where they're cut. There seems to be enough of a grip to hold 'em on with just the tightening bolt on that one side.

Well! I bought the set you have there Dwight, and was already planin' on cutting them in half, just so I could put them on WITHOUT having to remove the pipes. I thought I'd drill & tap the cut side, but I'm sure they will stay tight without doing that, just like you say. BUT I HAD NO IDEA that they would need to be reamed! Thanks for the tip.
And you may see me tonight

Thanks for the kind words here guys , but if ya have a grinder, a steady hand, and these... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRIUMPH-B...sQ5fAccessories...any of you should be able to whip these babies out in an afternoon like I did a few years back. All ya have to do is follow my above instructions. The toughest part is grindin' that inside area of the ring down about 1/8" in and so the inside of those fins are just about flush where they flow into the inside of that ring there. (...and be sure to be very very gentle with it while you're refashioning it, as these are made of aluminum)

You're welcome, Joe.
And no, the front is a 110/90-18 ME880 Metzeler.
(...but yeah, that pic does kinda make the tire look wider than that, doesn't it?!)
