and Running. Just picked her up. Installed the charged battery, turned the petcock on (Keith), pulled the choke and hit the starter..... It popped a few times...signs of life. Tried a minute later and she lives again. Warmed her up for a few minutes then went out for an hour. Runs like a top with no problems. Man this has been one cold spring though. Expect a few more fluries tomorrow. Still a lot of sand on the streets. City has been slow to clean them. Right now. I don't care....I'm back in the saddle again

Yep, went out for my first hundred plus mile ride yesterday. Battery was a little sluggish, but ticked er right over. A little cool, but nothing a pair of a$$less chaps couldn't make comfortable!

(...not to mention all those hoser cagers up your way who haven't had to look for motorcyclists and share the road with ya these last 5 or 6 months!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Good for you, Greg! Finally, eh? But wait... it's not Spring, it's late Winter! Yeah, it's been slow coming here too Greg. In my 'Getting up There' thread I Triumph-antly boasted about my first real "I'm-outta-here" ride of the season which I did during a small window of sunshine between cold fronts. It's back to cold again by the looks of today's sky.
As Dwight cautioned we need to be careful of sand... and that goes for a lot of us boys and girls!!

Thanks for the concern..... Coming to a couple of intersections with the sun in my eyes, I couldn't tell if the road was sand covered or bare......  The cagers....? I have to remind myself to watch out for any bikes so I wonder if any of them are even wondering if we exist
