Fitting the stuff is half the fun. Get yourself some good tools and be brave - it's not that hard - you'll love it (and hate it sometimes when things go wrong) but you WILL become addicted.

Many of the members in this forum previously had little or no experience in doing mods, regular maintenance and fitting accessories - and likewise, many of the members are very experienced (been working on bikes their whole lives) and then some are professional mechanics etc. We all help each other - there's no dumb questions and plenty of advice (and opinions) to be had - and the occasional Aussie who may have an unhelpful joke at your expense.
Of course, if you're chicken, you could pay your dealer as much again to fit them for you.
