Just got back from the test ride after fitting the new 16 tooth front (same as before) and the 44 tooth rear (formerly 42) sprockets, new chain too of course.

My rpm increased from 5000 to about 5300 at 80mph.
The bike is noticeably quicker in all gears. I have much better acceleration for street riding and on the slab too.
In fact coming home I nailed it on the freeway on ramp and hit a ton (indicated) in forth gear and still pulling

I may try some even lower ratios in the future. I would guess that a 46 rear would take it to about 5600 rpm at 80 Rev limiter is 7900.
