I've recently bought some 'Kevlar' jeans which are great when the temperature is up. One problem though, how do you stop them blowing up your legs when riding 'feet-forward' ? Super-glue or elastic bands spring to mind
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker...
Well, she's not actually my girlfriend yet.

I've seen these also (but never tried them): boot straps I don't mind the airflow, but hate the way my pants ride up when riding this bike. In heavy rain last fall on the way to NY, my rain pants rode up higher than the top of my boots. Waterproof boots filled up with water and soaked up my pant legs to about my knees. Will

Buy your pants long then tight rolls them like the 80s.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Bicycle shops once sold 3/4 circle spring steel clips that snapped around the ankle when riding a bike without a chainring. Maybe 1/4" wide. I just pop mine off and over the handlebars when I get off the bike. I've had a pair since the '70s and they work fine. You might check and see if something like this is still available.

I remember those... we'd use 'em to keep the pant leg out of the chain.

OR...I seem to remember somebody in France making this recently...

...and so maybe that "somebody" can just make a couple of 'em bigger...and more rounded.
(...and with a hinge...and with a clasp)

I also like this idea and if the chain was run under the bike it would help to keep you on the bike in strong winds

I never even realize this was a problem. One of the advantages of having a 36" inseam I guess. My feet aren't that far out in front of me. Knees are bent at a 90 degree angle so my shins are perpendicular to the road.

Seriously though, on long journeys I wear a pair of calf length boots like the old sixties rockers used to wear. They go over my jeans usually, but they can go under. I've had them since the eighties so I can't post a link.
Although this is a problem I have never noticed, even at speed.

Since the '80s????!!!! I remember you said that you still use 35mm film 'cause you were tight and wouldn't buy digital. Dude, NOW I believe you I don't have anything from the '80s ... certainly not the hair anyway!
