I've been looking around the photo gallery and have found numberous pictures of people that have gotten rid of the large speedo and replaced it.

How the hell did you do it?

I've been looking at these Arlen Ness speedos Mini speedo 2:1 or 2240:60 and I've got a few questions:

1) what ratio is the speedmaster 2:1 or 2240:60?
2) Now, how the hell do i hook it up? Do I use the existing cable or use some type of eletronics?

Answer 1: Pretty sure the ratio is the 2260 or whatever, the second one. As for number 2, our speedy is mechanical, so as long as the arlon ness one is mechanical, you should be ok, but then again I have never tried it!
