My rear brake's been spongey of late and I was changing the pads today at the same time as fitting my new clutch lever so I decide to bleed the brakes. Handily Mr Triumph saw fit to fit the rear brake on the left side and the pedal on the right which is far from ideal when bleeding brakes. So, in another stroke of innovation, I came up with this.
Two lengths of silicon aquarium air line with a standard non-return valve. I wasn't too sure if it was going to be too narrow for the job but it fit over the bleed nipple easily enough meaning I only needed to open it once because the non-return valve would stop air getting back in.
Worked a treat! Cost to me = nothing as I already had the parts from an old fish tank. Job done!
