JohnAlex apparently says it doesn't John, though he states a slight caveat in his posting about that. http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...true#Post465526(...and if it doesn't, I wouldn't mind havin' one myself!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

I guess I'll see how bad it scrapes for me. I was looking at it this morning and there's a good 4" of that arm before the scrape marks. Maybe I can design something better. Cut that sucker off and have a new bit welded on. The Rivco stand's arm screams 'putting the stand down while still on the bike.' That's hardly necessary.

it looks like you might be able to remove the step-on-thingy.
also that handle looks like a good addition, i've been grabbing the paggenger peg.
i took off the rivco because it hits too early for me.
If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

Got a reply back from Norman Hyde about scraping:
"Definitely not. Of course it will depend on weight of riders plus quality & adjustment of suspension. Last weekend I did 560 miles on our cruiser without problem & no one has ever mentioned grounding one."
I may hack my Rivco if it scrapes too much or sell it and buy one of these.

That one looks alot lighter than the revco.

I got a Rivco centerstand used for $150 used. Hope it doesn't scrape... I haven't mounted it yet, but it has a few scrapes from the previous owner. I am not a very aggressive rider so we will have to see. If so, the Norman Hyde seems like another option...
Oh man!! I'm going to jail!!

Ditto all that for me, except the aggressive rider bit. I'm going to scrape the hell out of this thing, I fear.
