i know i have seen several folks on here that have done a digital speedo relocation to the console; but has anyone done an analog? and if so, what brand did they use etc.

I mounted a fleabay mini analog from Taiwan up on the handlebars, had to add an 8" cable extension to make it reach, made a simple bracket from 1/8" stainless plate, if I ever get this project finished, I'll post pics. Send me your email addy amd I'll give you a sneak preview.

A good start, anyway!

My thought is to use the motogadget "motoscope tiny" or something similar (and cheeper) and mount it to the console by making a steel/aluminum ring whose inside diameter wold fit the speedo and a outside diameter that could be attached via adhesisve to teh underneith the consol opening. my only question is weather there will be enough clearance underneith for the cable.

not just any speedo will work however, make sure you get the right ratio. i believe the BA has a ratio of 2240:60
The above mentioned motogadget is adujutable i think, but this one from bikers choice would probably work too.
