Well, the long winter is almost over. I was able to get the bike out for a short ride last night, mainly to see if I as able to put everything back together correctly after installing louder horns and a new tank. Just drove around the neighborhood. About 20 min. into the ride I did a U-turn and found that my accelerator cables were tight and cause the engine to rev on a tight left turn. I headed home, pulled into the driveway and tested the steering. Then I tried to get off without putting the kickstand down. Luckily I was able to catch it before it hit the ground. Pulled the seat, lifted the tank and rerouted the accelerator cables and all is well. All in all it was a great evening.
Unfortunately, the weather forecast for today changed this morning from 10C and sunny to 5C and rain so my plan to ride to work was once again postponed.

Glad you got the cables sorted out. I had to re-route the cables, too, when I changed the bars. Also, "I feel your pain" on the weather front. We MAY hit 60 degrees today, but I doubt it. I we don't, it will be the first time since records have been kept, that we didn't hit 60 degrees in March. The other record we broke in the Portland metro area was rain fall. 27 (maybe 28) days with rain and more than 2 inches over average (3.25 in. avg.). Hopefully, things will get better SOOOOOON!!!
I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.
