Have just watched ... Video Road Test : The Zero S Electric Supermotard.
I know that to alot of people these are not considered as real motorcycles and they make a funny sound but 0 to 60 in 4 seconds is rapid get away and maybe they could get a little speaker with a roar like the peg and cardboard we use to put on our pushbikes to make em sound like a motorbike ... remember doing that ?
Anyhow what's the feeling out there towards these new fangled lectric machines ... I want one.

Anyone got a link bizo to Zero ... Made in Calfornia

I like the idea. I would love to pick one up as a commuter.

only draw back is the range, top speed and charging time.
if you run out of gas you can fill up. if your battery goes dead you have 4+ hours to kill.

If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

If the prices were better, I'd replace my Chinese scooter with one. In time they will be.

There maybe room for them to say be commuter bikes or a replacement for say the Thunderbird but all in all not my cup of rum.

My commute is 7 miles. I'd only have to charge it once a week.

I actually wonder if they'll keep making the Enertia once the Empulse hits the street. I mean, for $8k, the Enertia isn't much of a bike... The Empulse on the other hand, I might consider.

Ten grand is a fair bit of money to out lay but I'm considering converting a Honda 4 similarly to what this Kwaka's been done except with Lithium batteries.
Have watched video on u-tube White Zombie a Datsun 2 door conversion blowing them away on the drag strip ... Amazing guy having a go.

Might that be "an upgrade from the Thunderbird"?
