I got the chance to watch the movie One Week the other day. It had to be one of the best movies made. If you haven't seen it you gotta watch it.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Watched it when I was under the weather about a month ago. It is a great flick. People think it's going to be somber due to the subject material but it's actually pretty funny.

I've seem it a few times, I bought the DVD, then our RAT Pack watched it in January at the shop. There were several people at passed around my DVD to watch it a few times.

It has scenery that makes you want to get out on your bike and see the world. I thought it was pretty cool that he was taking pictures of him and his bike at all the different landmarks.

Netflix finally has it available as of 3/29 (Tuesday). It's been unavailable up to this point. I'm looking forward to watching it.

I am reviving an old thread here, but its worth reviving. I had been meaning to get this movie for a while. When my wife asked what I wanted for Fathers day, among other suggestions, I asked for a copy of "One Week". I did get it, watched it tonight, and its a great flick. If you get a chance, see it.

I watched it too... great movie! It kind of bummed me out for a while but it makes you think about important things. It was a great pre-3500 mile trip movie.

awesome movie, i made my boss watch it. Now i get to take my speedy from Toronto to a conference in Canmore (west of Calgery). Hahaha

Reads similar to the old TV Series "Run for your Life" (1965–1968) where Ben Gazzara plays a successful lawyer who is told in the first episode by his doctor that he will die in one to two years. He decides to do all of the things he has never had time for... "One Week" description reads "A terminally ill man (Jackson) looks to spend the last week of his life on an adventure."  Sounds like a good flick.
