I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

I had never seen this one before, but when I found it I thought you guys may want to have a look. I personally thought it a classic beauty.

I wish somebody would tell me where the front tire is? I find it odd that the most unique motorcycle ever made for 1950 engineering (perfect curved tank and panier type covers, curved glass, built in a garage) IMHO has a total of 6 pictures I can find. All of the same angle and resolution. Is it a barn find, a custom, or fabulous computer modeling? Somebody stole somebodies idea lol. The beginnings of the Victory vision hereI would like to see more of it.

Look at how tiny that thing is! Not really even worth riding. Looks like mini bike with him on it. The first pics make it look really big. Well, to me they did anyhow. The windshield is chest high.

I actually thought it was much bigger too. I don't like it as much now seeing it with the guy riding it. It looks like it would be more at home on a merrygoround at a fair ground.

That picture is a huge let down from the other pics. It's like the girl in the bar at 2:00am that looks like a 8 but in the morning she looks like your great aunt

It still looks kinda cool, like the original Batmobile from the early on comic books. And it does look like a prototype Victory Vision scaled down 15%.

Forgive my off topic but, that picture was taken at the grand national bike show at Rhinebeck NY http://www.rhinebecknationalmeet.com/If there's anyway folks can find a way to attend this show, do. It's incredible. In addition to many hundreds of antique bikes, there are also antique trucks & machinery exhibits as well. It requires a number of hours to see it all. Maybe make a weekend out of it and go catch a Midnight Ramble up the road a little bit at Mr. Helm's house.

Here's another pic of this bike, probably taken sometime around the WWII period.... http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...true#Post462522
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Is it just me, or does it look like a "suppository" with handles?

It looks bigger in the other post than with that guy on it. I thought it was really cool looking when seen in other posts. This is the first pic I've ever seen of the bike with someone actually on it. Now seeing it with a rider, I've lost interest.
