Well.. new to me:

Not as pretty as the speedy by a long shot, but I'm digging it. Std riding position, lots o' torque... Good every-day commuter.

Now the wife says I have to get rid of the speedy. So... the plan is to take sooooo loooong getting it 'ready to sell', that she forgets about it or just gives up.

You can't get rid of the speedie. Make a back up plan to keep it.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe

Try selling it for 30 grand. When it doesnt sell, tell the Mrs. that nobody wants it and you'll have to keep it.

That's a good plan. And it works. I've been getting my 1970 Camaro "ready to sell" for at least ten years now.
