So... I've decided it's time to relocate the battery. Going to fab my own box and whatnot...I'll post pics as I go. I'm looking for ideas on what to do with the electric bits under the seat (starter solenoid, etc...) I remember seeing a thread, before the forum was moved, where someone posted a pic of their mounting for all the electric bits under the seat... Is that still around? If not, can one of you post a pic of your arrangement?

Also, the bike had the FREAK on it... I'm wondering what to do with the crankcase breather. I remember seeing a pic somewhere where it was mounted to one of the sprocket-cover bolts. Is there any consideration I need to be aware of when mounting it? Should it be higher than the crankcase?

Thanks y'all...

Lance

The fact that the forum "moved" should have no bearing on the location of that thread.

Just sayin'...

Yeah... alright. I didn't find the pic I was looking for, but I got the answers to my questions (only 150 posts into the 335 posts returned in my search )

you can see the filter in this pick ^ its off the little wire bracket I just stuck it facing up and mounted it with the 2 bolts under the sproket cover.

If it's a peg bracket, why not the same on the other side, last pic.?

yeah those pics are from different times. Yes those are peg hangers that were custom made by the previous owner. Theyre machined out of t1160(?) aluminum. The centers were left with a rough machined look straight of the lathe. Theyre for sale I might add...haha ($100)
