In my day all the kids stood around in a big circle and chanted "fight fight fight" and no one had mobile phones with cameras. Eventually a Teacher would come and break it up and each of you would receive six of the best from the Headmaster and at the very worst they might speak to your parents.

These kids were on the News last night and on the Internet all over the world!!!

There is nothing wrong with the way I turned out. Hang on a minute, maybe all those antidepressants I have to take but apart from that, oh and the Physc visits and theres that time with the road rage incident but apart from antidepressants, Physc visits and the occasional incident involving violence there is nothing wrong with me. What are you looking at??? Stay off my lawn!!!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Here's the story....
The little kid is a new highschool student. He and a heap of his mates have been giving the big guy (a fourth year student) a load of crap for 2 months.

The big guy has been bullied most of his life about being over weight and finally cracked. End result - 1 busted up $h1tbag.

The little guy's mum wanted and apology!!!! Can you believe that? In my opinion she is as much at fault as her little darling.

I love that the school (which has a massive reputation for turning a blind eye to bullying) jumps on the big guy first and suspends him, then after seeing the heat they copped for it suspended the little guy as well. As far as the victims are concerened, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.... May as well - do!

Oh, that's because it was deleted from Vimeo. There's a note to that effect.

I don't understand why this is news or new. Bullies have bullied from the begining and he will usually find some one to knock him down a notch. This was a yearly thing at the schools I attended.

Good for the guy standing up for himself, and as usual he got in trouble for it, but thats the leason learned here as so eloquently stated by Buckers.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe

There was an update to the story. The bully's mom actually said that her little angel should apologize, The paper got it wrong. Gee that almost never happens.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Obvious lesson learnt. "don't mess with the big guy and if you do mess with the big guy then don't let him get hold of you."

Just wait til that fat kid gets dumped or fails his exams!

Better make sure he doesn't get into daddy's gun cabinet.

Just saw that vid... damn that must've hurt the little kid but he sure had it coming.

I was that fat kid in school, put up with it for a couple of years till I snapped one day in "shop class", tried to cave one of my tormentors' head with a ball peen hammer, then tried to put another's through a brick wall after class. Oddly, I never got bullied again in high school. They didn't have cell phones with vid cams back then, so I never had a problem afterwards.

As a responsible adult I say "violence never solves anything, it only begets more violence"... but as a victim of childhood bullying I say "Yeah kid, go the pile-driver!"

Actually, it's not accurate to say that "violence never solves anything". Whereas violence doesn't solve everything, it solves many things. This is the reason why violence is so popular. In this case, violence on the part of the fat kid solved the problem.
