ATTENTION ALL IN THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION AND THOSE FURTHER AFIELD WILLING TO TRAVEL!

We're laying plans for the 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Gathering and need you! Format is Saturday morning arrival, overnight camping and late Sunday return home with riding, back-slapping, joke-telling and overeating in between.

This year, we're expanding from the "4-hour lunch" format into a two-day event and shifting the location to Hagerstown, MD. Our friend, Al Jones (ssjones) has graciously offered his backyard for the pitching of tents, rolling-out of sleeping bags, etc. We'll pitch-in for food, beverages and charcoal-grill everything but eggs and spaghetti. Two days of riding, relaxing, eating stuff that's bad for us and so on in the company of like-minded rugged individualists...loners who Go Their Own Way...as a Group.

If you're not into camping, we can look into recommending less spartan accommodation nearby...but think of the fun you might miss

June 25-26

*Father's Day weekend, June 18-19 is out.

Keeping this alive, I will definitely try to be there. My schedule is well orchastrated chaos on behalf of the United States Navy, so so the more lead time the better.

I'm in for whenever. We need to do this one right. We have a pretty good number of members in the area and some of the best places to ride on the east coast. Lets set a date and get some turnout Mid-Atlantic!

Gene, it probably wouldn't hurt to start planning the October Foliage Run again too.

A little soon to plan for the Skyline pilgrimage. Hell, we got several steak and cheese runs to Philly and gotta reactivate the crab & beer run in August before we get to Skyline. I’ve been waiting for a def date on this ride before I commit. Always like heading up that way, at least for a day ride. Hopefully Jeff will post something up in his neck of the woods….I hear the Union Hotel calling…..
