Sorry Keith, that is one ugly looking car.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

I've seen this before. Very cool The best looking part of each of three years with a modern power train and suspension

$139,000 for a C6 drive line and all that custom work is really a competitive price.
I wonder who gets to keep the $20,000 bucks worth of take off parts from the vet?

I remember a TV show a couple years ago about building that car (or something really similar).

Your thinking of this one...way better than that 789 IMO.

Thats the Chevy Foose built for Chris Titus. I still love that car! Thinking of using those colors on my bike.

Looks like that one started out as a '56 which was one of the nicest looking Chevys from that era, imo.

If you want to talk about Corvette based customs... how about a Corvette based Corvette... I saw this on the freeway last late Summer... Wish I could have gotten better pics, but kind of tough at 70 mph.

Yeah Soren. At the Barrett-Jackson Auction this year there were a number of different companies on display offering to take a new C6 and replace the bodywork on it with ones that look like that '62 there, or a '53, or a '63 split-window Stingray.
I thought they all looked pretty cool, but would end up costing someone about $130-150K all told...quite a bit of money I'd say.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The first one is pretty close to the color of my '06 Speedy, so I vote for it.
Wow, I edited to say whoopsie, didn't realize this was an old thread.
I've been absent awhile and apparently forgot how to post.
