Catchy Subject line isn't it?

OK, here's the story...

I was reading an article in the local newspaper about a rider (Fred Veator) that travels to courthouses as part of his BMW club's challenge to visit all of Georgia's 159 courthouses in one year. This rider kept going and is now up to 1,405 throughout the South.

Here's the line from the story that got me;

"As he stood with his Triumph motorcycle Tuesday in front of the Charlton County Courthouse, a passenger in a ragged out old Cadillac shouted, "That's a girl's bike." Veator shrugged and said, "Harley rider." Which is interesting in itself. He bought Harley-Davidson stock years ago and used his dividends to buy the Triumph."

I'm still working on the BMW club connection.... maybe he's a convert?

He took his Triumph because his BMW had broken down or was in the shop?

Wow! I'm surprised Fred could actually hear what the guy was saying to him...considering the banjo music that was probably ALSO blaring out of that old Caddy's AC Delco radio at the time!!!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

His stallion was liberated only after the GA Courthouse Challenge was complete.
