Sold the Thruxton, bought the FZ8...I'm among the first in the country to own one. The first in NYC anyways. Will pick it up next week after they uncrate it and I get a PA plate for it.

Hey Mark, it's been a while, eh? I'm surprised you haven't already had the "smells like (add your choice of foreign food here)" stoopid comment. Have fun yoot.

My son has a FZ6R which he bought last year. He saw the FZ8 at the IMS show this year and would love to trade up. Too bad he's a poor college student. Mark, maybe you'll bring it to the Bennington Bash this year?

Oooo...I love it! Don't think I'll make the Bennington Bash again this year...I should be riding around AZ during that weekend.
Anyways...I'm really enjoying my first ever inline-4. It's long stroke compared to it's smaller bore makes it just ooze torque. Plenty quick to get me into any amount of trouble I wish...and brakes good enough to save my butt! I know it's like comparing apples and oranges, but it does everything the Thruxton wished it could.
