Anyone have any experience or recommendations ragrding Powerlet Proform heated clothing. I am thinking about the vest and gloves. They use microfibre carbon heating elements like Gerbing and Tour Master. The Tour Master has two temperature settings - low and high - and reviews say that low is often too hot. I suspect that the Powerlet has a variable temperature controller - can anyone confirm this?

Do you have any Powerlet heated garments - what's your opinion? I like their connection products but I don't know about their garments quality.

Not yet. I recently wired up 2 Powerlet outlets on the bike, and just ordered what I need to put power to my tank bag.
I'll be looking for a heated jacket/Gloves in the fall to finish up my cool weather riding set up.
I had my hands on a Gerbing last fall at it seemed to be of Impressive quality.
I've had only good experience with Powerlet equipment and service, so I expect the same from them.

I like the quality of their connectors which I alos use. They don't have any specific information on their site about the temperature controllers. All the blurb is the same for all their heated products -so you're left guessing about their specifications.
I suspect the dual temperature controller is for rider and pillion or maybe for separate control of vest and gloves.
They don't say what sort of control you get - variable or stepped or how many steps. Other brands include the temperature controller in their vest price. I want to know if Powerlet's controller is superior.
