I read that many have changed their crush washer on the header pipes. Question I used stock ones form Triumph, they have two ears where do they go in or out(2 small ones)? And my header hanger was broken off the frame. Thank God for wire feed weilders.

don't anyone feel to bad about not knowing about the tab'es on the crush washers. I called the Dealer I got them from and talked to two mech. and they didn't know eather. I put the washer in with the ears out an it seams to be holding. Went about 20 miles and its holding. When I pulled the old washer out, only found about half of it. The header pipe was suporting muffler and all(sporter mufflers)with no hanger.Rudy

Sorry Rudy... I have my headers off but ended up buying some crush washers made for a Yami so I didn't know anything about those tabs. Hmmm, come to think of it I never saw any signs of them being there on the old washers. Anyway, it sounds like you got it sorted out.
