Pretty sweet rides. You've got the Speedy looking great, Mike. Of course your Cardinal Red TBA has always been a head turner. Major problem though, how will you decide what to ride to the next Rally????

I never knew you had a Speedmaster, Mike!
The more I see of the Yellow/Black ones, the more I want one...

Thanks guys for the compliments. Paul (PES) I pretty much have the America set up for long trips, hint . The speedy is for shorter runs, although I think Hornet will make a cameo in Georgia sometime in May 2011. Keith (Blackwind), I picked up the Speedmaster last fall with low mileage for a song. She was pretty grungy and had not been pampered the way she is now. I’ve put a ton of elbow grease into her and I think she is looking pretty swell.

I love the nose-to-nose shot. One of each... Maybe John should make that shot part of the site, like mascots.

NICE!!! How do you like the backrest? I'm thinking about getting one for my "Woody". Looks like a clean set-up, but I'd have to remove the rail (no big thing).
I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

I like the comfort, easy on easy off. The looks I'm not crazy about but my back likes it a lot. Purchased from Fast Eddy, I ended up cutting it down a couple times until it hit just where I liked in the small of my back. I had a Corbin seat with back rest, which looks sweeter in my opinion. My ole bony butt never got used to it and after several 1000 miles I sold it. I then realized how much I liked the back rest and needed a replacement, this one turned out to be a good bargain.

Now there's a thought. Some things are better left to metal. I don't think a couple of 2x4's would enhance much.

Understand about the "ole bony butt". That's why I'm trying to sell a "Low Profile Saddle". Good looking seat but just a bit to stiff where I like it softer. Got a jell-foam now that works great on that. Now I'd like to try the back rest for the upper part on long rides.

Nice stuff Mike. I've followed that oh-so-nice Red Devil a few times and I think I'll need to give the Hornet a go soon...
