O.K. I give up. I do agree the posts with photos are great. At present I don’t do Photowhatever but I am now willing to learn how. My question is which bucket should I use, and what are the ins and outs of using it. Eg do I own the photos and have control over where they are used etc, costs. Anything I should be aware of?

I use photobucket.com. It's free and the photos ate saved on your home page that you can share with other "friends" on there if you want, I don't. To upload the pics to there you save them to your computer then on the site you click on add photos or something like that. You choose the ones to upload from your hard drive and they are there. Then to get them on the forum as you write your post if you click on the photo in photobucket a drop down menu comes up and you can copy the images address and paste that into the post on these forums. That's the confusing part. It's free and really easy once you've done it. And if you get lost we or I can help you along. Look forward to seeing some shots of your ride. Brett

As what has been said, Photobucket is free and easy once you know how.
I don't know who owns your pics though

Don't bother with the image bit when posting, and you also had :// at the front which stopped this happening http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g437/imd670/th_Feb2010044.jpg?t=1297551831Which is just a link Now I'm going to see how I do it

What you titled your url, if it had been between the two image marker, the image will display. To see exactly what it looks like, Click on the "Quote" button to reply to this message and then look at the address embedded between two image placeholders.

Hey Mo, good on ya for working at figuring this picture thing out. You're almost there. In photobucket, when you hover your mouse over a thumbnail you should see some stuff pop up beneath the pic. Move your mouse pointer down to 'Direct Link'... click and the word 'copied' briefly appears.
Now try pasting it into the UBB Code 'Image' thingy on our forum while you're posting. See if that works.
