I have a 110-80 Avon Azaro on the front of mine, and my old tire was a 100-90 Avon Venom...

Mine's a 2003 and the book says Bridgestone L303 3.5-18. Manual doesn't offer an alternative.

Go with the bigger tire size it will help correct the speedo error

I put on a Metzler ME880, 100-90H-18 size. Same Metzler for the rear, 170-80-15.

Jean-Luc,
Ade's post is correct.
Stock front tire on a 2002 Bonneville America was a Bridgestone Mag Mopus L303 3.5 S18 4PR 56S.
That converts to a 110/80 18.

Jean-Luc,
Moe and Ade are correct it's a 110-80-18. What are you thinking of getting?

I was thinking to go for 100-19-80 Pirelli MT66 or Michelin commander 100-19-80,I d'ont know witch is the best one. Try to get ready for Georgia.By the way I will also buy the rear tire that match.

I had a pair of Michelins on a bummer once. Ride, handleing and life were good but the beads were so bloody stiff as to be a real buggar to remove them when they wore out. This could be a really good thing in case of a flat.

I just put a Michelin Commander 100/90-18 on my bike. I got about 16,000 on the original Bridgestone. So far I like the Michelin. Good handling and smooth. I'm hoping for great mileage also.

I have been using 110/90x18, the slightly taller tyre has corrected the over optimistic speedo reading to about 4% instead of approx 10% cheers, Tadpole
