I contributed the square wheel trike that someone is using last I noticed and the one I use.One of the gas tanks is mine too.

We're not currently planning on removing animated avatars, especially since that would mean axing most of the flags.

Just get Firefox, install the "Stylish" extension, and make a custom stylesheet that says this:

img {display: none;}

Piece of cake.

Honestly, I don't even see the animations anymore. Kinda like banner ads, I tune them out. Of course, I contributed 2 of them, the Silent Bob one and the blinking eye one.
