We took our time coming home, got here around 3PM.Had long traffic delays on 80 south of Chicago.Time we got east of Chicago on 94 we stopped for a light lunch. We got out of our heavy jackets and I took off my chaps. When we got home I discovered my rally vest was missing.I called back to the restaurant but they could not find it in the parking lot,so it must have fallen out coming on home. Can buy a new vest but all those patches from all those rallys are irreplaceable. My good memories will always be there but my vest was a keepsake.Guess I'll have to start over,LOL. Diane and I would like to thank you all for making our weekend so enjoyable. You meet the nicest people on a Triumph!!

I rolled into home last night at 10 PM with a total of 913 miles for the trip for me. We stopped a number of times for the grand kids to have fun and just putter around including stopping a Cabela's in Prairie Du Chein and a few other "woman" stops and lunch and supper, they didn't have AC in the van, they said I had it too nice on the bike. My son kept offering to "spell" me on the bike so I could "rest"...somehow I just had enough "life" left in me to complete the trip on my bike! No rain but as soon as the sun went down I was hammered with more bugs in 30 minutes than I was on the whole of 4400 miles of the trip out west! It was so great to see you all again and to meet a few new people. Those who could not make it were missed.

Had a pleasant, uneventful, ride home yesterday. Ended up with over 700 miles on the clock for the weekend. I already have a couple of ideas for next year, I think stagecoach trail needs some attention. Lily and I had a wonderful time, enjoyed seeing old friends, and making some new ones.
