Bob, I haven't come up with a plan yet; when or how I'm getting there. If I'm gonna slab it, having some company sounds great. What milepost is the truck stop? I'm not exactly sure where you mean.

Sounds good Bob! I can be there at or near 11, if I'm not there by 15-20 after go ahead and take off; but I see no reason I can't make it.. I'd like the riding company, the slab's boring.. javascript:void(0)

I'll be taking the backroads most of the way down. Starting with Rt 167 and 512. It looks like I can pick up Rt 7 onto Rt 507, in Parkland, and follow it down most of the way. I'm going to try and hit the road by 9:30 AM with a stop for fill-up. See y'all down there.

Sorry guys! I just realized that I'm dangerously dependant on riding w/ Z. I couldn't get the nerve to take my own bike out to meet you guys. I need to work on this problem. I can't have Z as a security blanket on the road. This sucks!

Riding up and down the slab isn't my idea of a whole lotta fun anyhow, I'm just doing it to meet up w/ all the Triumph folks and it's the "easy" way to get there.

What a great day! The weather worked out great! We ended up with almost 65 bike there, including six Speedmasters and two Americas. Pictures coming soon, between my wife and my son they got almost 200 pics, so I need to sort through them.

Today was just fantastic! It was great to meet some of the people from this board and FB. The food was good and I really enjoyed the ride home.

It turns out, heading north on Rt 507 in Yelm with the great weather, I had a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier right in front of me. I was tempted to stop and try to get a shot.

It's too bad there weren't more TBA's and SM's in attendance. It was cool to see some Bonny's & Thruxtons show up, I never see them out on the road. Saw some nice Rockets, but Rocket Bob (aka odatbob) still has a "bee-yooteeful" Rocket that now really roars with those Jardine pipes.

Thanks Soren and whomever else put this together. And thanks Mother Nature for the wonderful weather!!

PS: Thanks for the pic showing my brass battery plate. I'm kind of proud of that thing!
