The 3rd Annual Lochinver Pie Run
22nd - 25th April 2011
A few of you will know what this tour entails, for the uninitiated and for the new members to this forum we have here a small tour to the north west of Scotland.
Pam and I usually set off after work on the Thursday and head north towards Durham/Northumberland and stay in a B&B overnight (as yet location not decided).
Then on the Friday its the ride to Ullapool

A720 road around Edinburgh with lunch at South Queens Ferry.

A9 Pitlochry, Kingussie, Avemore, Inverness.

via Gruinard Bay, Poolewe, Gairloch, past the beautiful Loch Maree to Kinlochewe. Then we take the A896 through the mighty Glen Torridon, Shieldaig, around the Applecross peninsular to Lochcarron, and if anyone cares to join us on this leg you are most welcome. We shall take accommodation in Lochcarron
Then Monday the ride home
