Very pleased with this, especially as it was less than 80 of your finest english beertokens. will lift 680kg and seems very stable, a 'does what it says on the tin' product. its a good height for me to work at too. I also have a two tonne table lift, but thats not much use with the america as it has no centerstand, this is going to be much more useful.. so the tablestand will pop up on eBay shortly.   For anyone in the UK considering, this was the place I purchased from: eBay shop / auction

I hate to say it but that looks almost identical to my bike lift, which came from a store chain, here in the US (Harbor Freight) for about 1/3 that price (about US$40-50 - it was a Christmas gift a few years back). Yes, they are a nice lift for working on the bike and getting it up into the air. But I've discovered it's not very useful for changing oil & filter, unless you want to get oil all over the floor instead of into a collection pan.  And, if your bike is lowered, it can be a PITA to slide that lift under the bike in the first place. But still very nice looking. Congrats !!

Yeah, I have the Harbor Freight lift too. Was about $60-$70 US give or take at the time. Money well spent, sure you'll find it very useful. Found that my riding buddies like to come over and use it, too. Which means more time for me to screw around with bikes, much to my wife's dismay...

Doh yes you're quite right, an oil change is going to be a pain!!
ah well. At least I can do chain adjustments properly now!

Mine works well when changing oil. Just use a V shaped piece of cardboard to direct the oil.

Nice thing to have, Ben. If oil changes are a hassle I can easily vouch for this homemade stand. It's uber handy for chain adjustments and wheel cleaning too. But one day I'll get a lift like Ben's so I can sit on a stool and tinker at eye level.

That's slick. I would probably still find a way make a big mess though.
