Has anyone used the kit from BellaCorse?
It's much cheaper than all the other vendors...

i think they are all the same..some have fancy bolts but you can get the parts at your local hardware store..
i've done 3 bonnies. a t100, scrambler and the speedy.
1 kit from bella, 2 kits from new bonnie.

btw. if you have an efi model i would not remove the ai.

If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

I have dealt with BellaCorse and was happy with what I got and extremely pleased with the time and care he spent making sure he got me the part I wanted. That kit is fine, some offer stainless or anodized plugs for the head.

Bellacorse has been great to deal with. The only difference in the kits are the finishes. If you have a carbed bike the AI needs to go.

Does anything else need changing when you remove the AI? I have a kit coming, just wondered if anything else needed to be done..

It's been a while but I recall there being a plug to fit on the airbox where a hose used to be. It should be obvious what needs to be done, and there should be instructions with the kit. But to answer you question... no, there is nothing outside the kit that needs doing.

You have a plug to install in the front left side of the air box, a vacuum cap you have to put on the intake where the vacuum line for the pump under the tank attaches. You can remove the pump or not you choice. (When I changed headlights the wires that used to be in the headlight are under the tank where that pump was now.) The 2 lines have to be unscrewed from the head next to the sparkplugs and those plugs installed.

You can go the cheap route and you can go the pricier route and get things engraved on your kit or you can go low profile (I did).
I like (and have) this kit: BC AI Kit $24.99
