Triumph will be there for the first time in five years. a recent email from Triumph states: The first 1,000 folks that show us the key to their Triumph motorcycle will receive an exclusive Triumph sport bag during Long Beach IMS Show on December 17-19, 2010. We are back on the IMS show circuit for the first time in more than five years, and we want everyone to know it. You've been waiting, asking, demanding that we return ??? we listened and we're coming back in a big way. Wear your Triumph gear, Ride your Triumph motorcycle, Show off your Triumph t-shirt, and show us your Triumph key to get a custom Triumph sport bag. Plus, while you're there, we will be unveiling SEVEN brand new 2011 motorcycles. Stop by the our booth for the official unveilings and product presentation. This will be the first time anyone in the country will see at least three of the motorcycles unveiled (Rumor has it there will be a wicked 'street fighter' in the mix...Stop by to see for yourself). Here's the schedule: Friday, 12/16 ??? 7:00pm See you There or be Square Bob & AmyLee

AmyLee and I will be going down to visit her brother, which lives in Yorba Linda and works as a longshoreman in Long Beach, this coming weekend, great timing for a visit to the http://www.longbeachcc.com/ motorcycle show. We will be taking the camera, but not sure when we'll go, Saturday or Sunday. The brother-in law is a Harley owner (Soft-tail) but, I don't hold it against him.

Dang, this'll be the first Long Beach show I've missed in about 15 years!
(...it's a mite further from Prescott to Long Beach than it was from Lawndale, ya know)
And as noted in that link, this year will be first time in years that Triumph will have an "official" presence there. It's been up to Matt Capri of South Bay Triumph and Tom Hicks of Southern California Triumph to wave the Triumph banner with their smaller vendor spots in those shows for the last few years, ya know.
Have a great time Bob and AmyLee! Wish I could join ya.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Well, AmyLee and I rolled (via the cage) back in to good ole Chowchilla about an hour ago. We made it over to the Long Beach motorcycle show at noon time on Saturday, after circling the place, twice looking for a parking place we found a metered space next to Hooters, a block from the show. We only gave our selves 2 hours to sight see the place and get back to the car. Anyway we chatted with the Triumph guys from Newman, Ga. about the bikes, and what was the latest wish list items being talked over, took some pics and got the Triumph bags. With AmyLee's help I'll post some pics soon. Bob PS: After feeding the parking meter some more coins, we headed into Hooters, the food aroma was to good to pass up.

The Storm, is nice if you like that all Black look. To me it feels the same as the T-Bird while sitting on it. Its all about "image" what do you want to project, cause while riding its all about comfort and performance. I guess I would rather have a little Bling mixed with the color.

I did not see any official Triumph Motorcycle Limited apparel. South Bay Triumph had some t-shirts, there was other vendors with Triumph jackets.British Gear was there with Belstaff type clothing.
