Hi Bill , welcome to the Forum ! You may wanna re-post this in "miscellaneous" , you'll get more action . The Mods will move it there soon enough , bet they're all passed out from Thanksgiving overindulgence . I haven't had a problem like that on my BA , but it can happen , usually there is some wheel damage if you go breakin' spokes .

With the wheel jacked up , spin it around and check it for possible bent spots , if there aren't any , just get you a new spoke !

fI found 1 broken spoke on my rear wheel at 30 k. Wheel spins ok. Just one spoke isn't neccessariy a problem. Check to see if there are any other loose spokes. Just replace it the next time you fit a tire.

Thanks. The bike only has 1100 miles and looks brand new so i doubt anything is bent. I was concerned because of some feedback i read at another site.

Thanks for the advice. i am going to the triumph dealer and see what he advises. Since the bike is way out of warranty i am wondering if i could take it to a local guy who works on all brands of bikes. The closest dealer is 75 miles away. I rode 50 miles and she seems to ride great

I wouldn't worry about it too much - I broke 3 spokes while on a trip around Europe and covered a further 2000 miles ( some along Polish roads!!!) without any problems.

I had 2 spokes break on my rear wheel after the warranty was up, I talked to my dealer about it and He called Triumph about it and they did replace the spokes at no charge. A good dealer is worth their weight in gold.
