I want to ask for opinion on what is the best way to revive / blacken a black leather seat. I want to make it black and glossy without getting a black butt after sitting on it.

Any recommendations?

I don't know how this will work on a seat, but when I bought my leather jacket, I was told to spray wd-40 on a cloth, then wipe it on the jacket. it was said to put oil back into the leather. i don't remember if it affected the blackness, but it did keep it nice and soft.

Tandy leather, go there and learn about leather products they got good stuff.

Doesn't that stuff stain? I thought I'd end up with a black stain on blue jeans if I used that?

You may be right as I have not used it on a seat. I have used it on leather jackets and also on a tank cover and tank bag I used to have and it never came off on me but I guess a seat might be different.
After I applied it I would always let it sit in the sun and sweat. Maybe that helps.

Not sure if sno-seal stains or not. I use it on my boots and it works great. It will darken and waterproof leather but you'd have to heat the seat up first (oven, hairdryer or heat gun).
