I pulled off my Staintunes tonight. I have had them two riding seasons now, and this summer will be the third. I wiped the road grime off them and then took the tar spots off with some solvent. I was very happy to see that there was not one speck of rust of corrosion. I'll buff them with some Blue Job and put them back on, just like new. Now I'm glad I went for the stainless steel.

Cody, I am looking to buy a set of Staintunes from Brent. What size main jets are you running. I put in some 130's with stock pipes and wonder if I should get some different jets from Brent while I'm at it.

Here's my current setup.
45 pilots
138 mains
1 washer under stock needles
Staintune exhaust, reducers in
Unifilter
Snorkels out
About 3 turns on the air/mix screws
St Paul is about 800 ft above sea level

I drilled some holes in the bottom of the airbox but I didn't really like the change in performance so I'll probably cover the holes. However, I'm planning to install the Freak so that will be a moot point. I don't know if my jets are perfect, but they are pretty close. Depends on a lot of things like gas quality, barometer, etc. Some days it runs GREAT, and some days it leaves me wondering. I tried 140 mains but that was too much. 138s are about as high as I could go. I believe that by going with 45 pilots I don't have to turn the air mix screws out so far and the bike starts a little easier on cold mornings.

Overall I'd recommend the Staintunes. I like them a lot.

Here's a pic of the reducers. Last night I took them out and cleaned them up so I shot some pics.
