As Charlie Brown would say. Its that time of year again. With the time change and cooler weather, my commute to work on the Triumph is over until March . Too many deer and poor night vision dictates . Did manage to ride over 10k miles this year.

Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

But cha know... it's a great time to get to work on the bike. I know I'm looking forward to rolling up my sleeves this winter!! When she emerges in the Spring, she'll once again reign triumphant over anything and all!!

Mine's headed to the garage soon. Need a little mechanical work from the certified mechanics, then if my husband fills my Christmas list with my "needs" for my bike, she'll be looking even better by spring.

I understand the rolling up the sleeves part. Unfortunatly, any upgrades for the bike is on hold. All funds are on hold to pay for next spring's inventory.

Ah yeah... but you can always take parts off to get at others, clean everything real good, and detail the bike so it shines like the true star it is. And you can go over the electricals with dielectric grease and check all connections. Lube cables, check tires, chain, sprockets... check for loose nuts and bolts, etc, etc, etc. There PLENTY you can do without spending money. It's a kind of "Zen" and the art of motorcycle maintenance thing!!

Mine goes into the basement every year at Thanksgiving, so I share your pain... But as always, there are upgrades to be done!

Yeah, but then we have to take it back out when the sun comes up. What a PITA!
