Thank you my friend.
I was about to see how many skips I could get outa my
laptop if I flung it across the river. For those that
don't know me, I live on a boat.

Now, I will bombard you with pics.

Really nice Charles... and this picture begs the question, "what's better than ONE Cardinal Red sitting along a shady lane?" (I'm thinkin'... TWO!!!)

Live to love, love to live.

That shady lane is Rob and Aunt Cathy's driveway.
New Hampshire Rally 2009, I believe.

Nice looking bike, you have a few things happening there that I wouldn't mind. How's the belt drive working for you?

The belt conversion looked very complex, was it worth it in the long run? I have an 07 America and thought about the conversion but it looks tough to complete. Thanks and great pictures.

It's not all that complex, you just have to take a bunch of
stuff apart, and put it all back together. I studied Pat's
(Dinqua's) destructions, and had alot of helpers at one of
my Tech Days. Yes, you have to remove the rear wheel and
swing arm, but it's a good time to clean everthing up nice.
The second time I had to do it after a belt break, I did it
in about 2 hours by myself. And the Sears lift and air tools.
Everything's easier the second time around. (experience)
Overall, I'm still happy with the belt drive.

Power shifting into 2nd, chasing Hedge off a stoplight.
I thought I missed a shift, but looking back, I saw my
belt lying in the road. Tore straight between 2 bumps.
Had to ride b!tch on Hedge's luggage rack to get my
truck and trailer to bring her home.
Good to hear from you,
Hope to meet up this year,
Uncle Charlie

Uncle Charlie, How many miles did you put on before that belt snapped? And how many miles have you put on the next belt since then?

I'm thinking around 7k. Not sure. The one that broke had no
visable wear. I took pics, but can't find them. I saved the
belt, and will take new pics when I can. May have 3k on the
new belt, again, not sure.

Nice pics Unca Charlie. Hey, you even look like an uncle

You guys are lucky to be able to get together for tech days. Love that team spirit all helping each other.

I only wish I knew who was who in the zoo. We talk to each other and listen to comments etc and we can't put a face to a name.

I suppose that's the nature of the beast sometimes being online. Also most of you guys know each other so it wouldn't matter hey?

I'll put some of my own pics of Ferdie up soon for you guys, when I get a moment. I think I'm due to share the joy.

Btw, that is one son of a ... Tool roll. I reckon you may have more tools in there than I've got
