just got back in from a ride, stopped the bike, opened gates to ride in and the bike wouldn't start, all the lights come on but when i press the starter button i get a loud click from under the seat and motor wont turn over, all the light go out for about a min then come back on but it does the same again when i press starter , any ideas what has happened, many thanks

check your battery cables, they have a tendency to come loose

yes check to make shure the cables are tight. then give the battery a charge. the take a small amount of trnsmision fluid on a paint brush or q-tip and put it on the battery terminals this prevents oxidation wich will cause lose of connection. if it happens again then you got a charging problem. batteries do go bad to so you could have a bad battery

thanks to all, tightened the battery leads but tbh they wern,t that loose, maybe a half turn but it starts now so maybe that was the answer

same kind of thing on my 07 Speedy...only a slight tweak required.. I think the + pos side was the culprit..
now i check mine as a part of my " pre-flight"
