A big thanks to Angelis who spent his whole afternoon yesterday putting on an inline fuel filter for me and drilling bigger holes for the slides in the carbs. I don't know how much help I was, but I was good at handing him tools and holding the flashlight.

Drank Budwieser once. It was like drinking soapy water. All we got was bloated. Sorry to my American brothers but your beer is pretty bad.

I drank Budwieser once when i was in LA. I didn,t get bloated ,gave up after the first one, definately tastes like water, had some nice German beer though.I suppose it,s what your used to.If your somewhere where the beers not so good there,s always whisky to fall back on,or fall down on for that matter.

Be sure to give us some notice and we can arrange a meet somewhere. I'm certain the Brit guys will be on hand to share a few beers

I had a couple of Budweisers last fall in Prague. Among the best beer I've tasted. Maybe the recipe is different elsewhere?

Busweiser in Prague is WAY different!! I think this was discussed before, and if I remember correctly someone said the American version has started using Rice as a base?!? Random... But I believe it started in Prague, so that's the real deal! I was surprised to see Bud signs everywhere when I went there! Even the Pilsner Urquell that gets imported here isn't as good as the fresh stuff over there. It's like butter over there! Real tasty.

You guys are great! Bud Sux the big one! (sorry BUDWEISER, nothing personal against you) The beers in Oz are very nice too, I really enjpy VB and wish we could get it here, but no one imports it. Bud here is kind of like Fosters is over there, for the unlearned and for export. It is a mediocre lager at best. If you ever get over this way, there is a huge micro-brew thing going on and there are tons of truly outstanding brews being made in the states these days. Both the east and west coasts have several mainstream micros now and the number is growing each day. See, don't get me going about beer....
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Isn't it funny how we start talking about wrenching on our bikes and the conversation leads to beer......makes you wonder if the sayings true: bikes and beer go together.

I guess there is always good things and bad things about where you live. We have the worst weather, but the best beer here in the Pacific Northwest (Widmer Brothers Drop Top is my current favoite, Deschutes Brewing's Black Butte Porter is very good too). It has got to be the micro brew capitol of the world. Even so, it still suprises me how many people around here still drink Bud, Coors, Miller and worst yet Pabst.

When i was in New Orleans a few years ago i tried a few beers there, good stuff ,Voodoo beer i think was one of them a darker beer a bit like Tooheys Old over here. I tried a few in Canada too Labatts Blue and Moosehead i think they were called ,very nice. The main thing to remember is drink enough so that you can.t remember what it tastes like, a tried and tested method, cheers.
